What a great, inexpensive and pretty way to make a headboard/canopy. The top image mounts brackets to the wall and uses what look to be 3 curtain panels. The bottom image hangs a rod with fishing wire from the ceiling and drapes the fabric.
I love how the fabric gives the feeling of a canopy but is open and airy.
