The best fortune cookie I ever cracked into, "Make True the Dreams of Your Youth." This really hit home for me. The dreams of my youth were very different from what I was doing. So I held onto that little slip of paper and kept it under glass on my vanity for years, everytime I looked at it I sighed and daydreamed. Well, it is time to do something about it. Time to make true my childhood dreams- time to create and design, and do what I am good at.

Things I Love Today: Asymmetric Design

Love this living room. The asymmetry of the mantel sets the tone as relaxed and fun. I love all the color accents on the chair and stool and the mix of antique and modern pieces keeps it interesting.
